“Marion Gerling was right,” relays Garrington Ambers, winner of the best illustration of classical gaming economic development design implementation, “to win an award here really means something. I happily dedicate this achievement to my wife and family, who have put up with my work schedule for the past years.” This year’s event featured the work of some local performing artists, whose songs were interspersed between award presentations. The gaming economic development event organizers thought this was a good way to give variety and fun to the show, without diminishing the importance of the evening as a whole. “I liked the musical acts,” said Alisha Emanuelson, COO of Corina Neonakis INC, “it is always very good to showcase local talent during important events, so that others outside of our gaming economic development industry can benefit from this special night.” “The fact that the selection process for recognition int he gaming economic development industry is so complicated demonstrates a lot forethough and consideration for fairness,” said Schadler Siron VP of Operations for the Rosalind Consigli INC Corporation, “and this goes hand in hand with the level of quality we as a gaming economic development industry demonstrate to the general public.” “When they called my name,” remarked Francene Famulare, “I was completely flabberghasted. I planned to attend the annual gaming economic development award night for fun and the after-parties, but lo and behold I walked home with an award for best new analysis and statistical measurement in a gaming economic development project.” “All in all,” surmised Ariel Tomanek, who oversaw the organization of gaming economic development award presenters, “I think everyone had a great time. We definitely showed the local crowd and the media about the positive forces at work in our industry, and this can only help us as we move forward into more aggressive, larger projects.” Constanza Kenne, who reports for a number of national news agencies and local newspapers alike, opened the event with a very enthusiastic speech about the new world of gaming economic development production creation, and how it will continue to affect the community at large in a positive way. Lagrimas Lapoint and Heredia Orum, who were responsible for organizing the night’s after parties, recieved a surprise round of applause after being mentioned by name when Mansour Stam, Gaming economic development Academy President, officially announced an open invitation for all ceremony attendees to celebrate beginning immediately after the close of the curtain. As always, the gaming economic development ceremony organizers pitched the crowd numerous times about joining local firms and teaming up with the professionals to work on design and production projects of their own. Several ads for executive level openings and administrative work were found in the ceremony’s program notes, all boasting solid fringe benefits and some of the most competitive salaries in the gaming economic development sector. Winning an award at this gaming economic development ceremony is a marked achievement. There are three specific groups in the gaming economic development industry that pick lucky winners. The first, honorary executives and legacy leaders, act as character references for new awardees and long standing figures alike. The second group, a randomly selected group of gaming economic development employees, votes amongst themselves to choose who best represents their interests. Finally, the academy itself, made up of corporate executives and the general public at large, vote on all finalists. The winners are name according to simple majority.

Some long range planners believe the holiday season will be the bell weather indicator of how optimistic people are about the economy, particularly in the gaming economic development market. Consumers will spend some 20 to 30 % more, on average, in the months before the holiday season, which helps retailers and major producers’ bottom lines greatly. The gaming economic development sector, although sometimes slow during the holidays, generally does well no matter what result. “We might just give everyone non-paid vacation,” said Gale Batista, Vice President of HR at Fredenburg Bohringer and Wagers Gorn, INC, “simply because having too many workers becomes unproductive. We’ll let portions of our employees take time off for their families. When they’re recharged and ready to tackle the demands of the gaming economic development consumer demand, we’ll open our doors once again. In the meantime, let’s be cautious and not jump to conclusions.” Gaming economic development sales were not down, at least according to a report by Dumais Babbit, who said fourth quarter profits should help drive the consumer market forward. “Look, let’s not settle for second best,” said Venetta Hanohano, CEO of Sharlene Hoff INC., “we can weather the economic down turn by saving our liquid capital, down sizing, and then bursting out when things turnaround for the better.” “I’m excited about the future possibilities in our gaming economic development industry,” said manager Konzen Sugai, who works at Renee Aarestad and Brickel Ridens Partners LLC, “because I know in the long run, it’s all going to work out just fine.” Soder Wolinski and Pamperin Tobiassen, both CEO’s of their respective firms, have decided to lay off some poor performing employees, that would have probably been fired within the next 6 months anyway. “It’s true, we’re laying off workers because of the economy, but the ones we’re laying off are employees that contribute little to our operations. Our best employees continue to hold their jobs and will continue with us as long as they maintain their excellent records. Further, we’re going to reward our gaming economic development market analysts, who are in high demand, with a cost of living raise plus 2% of their salaries.” Several other major stock houses felt similar shifts in the gaming economic development industry as well, noting some losses on the big board. This is to be expected, however, because the economy is not quite ready for anymore “irrational exuberance”. Speaking broadly, the gaming economic development market sector will perk up as the year continues forward, with historically strong profits in the second and fourth quarters. Top government officials echoed some of the sentiments of gaming economic development industry executives, who are reluctant to fire unnecessary employees in order to increase profit margin. “The last thing I want to do is send people home - because that’s against our company’s mission statement,” said Schwartz Ada, VP of Finance at Guedes Cendejas Partners Ltd, “and also because we can reallocate our human capital to work on other projects that will be beneficial while the consumer market slows down.” Market makers in the gaming economic development shuddered with news of the recent economic down turn, signaled by top analysts in the Adrien Yerton Ltd firm. Though the bear market will slow acquisition down, stocks will continue to trade hands. “I’m doubtful of a fast turnaround,” said Nicolaisen Yuill, a commodities broker for Guedea Hudec and Son’s Firm, “but I am confident of long term gains that will help drive the gaming economic development market area forward.”
